Sombo
Sombo, also sometimes written as Sambo or Cambo, is a Russian martial art and jacket-based wrestling combat sport, developed in the 1920′s. Initially used as a hand to hand combat system for the Red Army, it has roots in Judo and Karate, as well as many other Continental European, Near East and Central Asian wrestling styles.
