Helping people of all ages to get into shape in an unintimidating atmosphere to achieve their individual self defence and fitness goals. People come to us from all over the county to learn or improve on a Martial Art. We hold over 30 classes a week in a custom built Martial Arts Studio, and our instructors are amongst the best in the country. All ages and levels are welcome.
This incorporates an integrated arts syllabus which includes and combines the arts of the late great Bruce Lee (Jun Fan Martial Arts) with the Filipino martial Arts, Western Kickboxing, traditional Muay Thai, and Mixed Martial Arts Ju Jutsu. With our cross training and ‘JKD concepts’ approach to martial arts we aim and do produce well rounded and effective martial artists competent in all ranges of combat and capable of reacting to whatever they face in terms of self defence.

5th Dan WUMA Black Belt
The senior instructor is Laurence Sandum who teaches the majority of the classes. Laurence is 5th Dan WUMA (World United Martial Arts Federation) Black Belt with over 20 years continuous martial arts experience. He is the appointed WUMA Chief Instructor for Essex and is regarded as one of the most experienced instructors in the country.
He has also been a promoter of some of the most prestigious Kick Boxing Shows in the country, and has featured on numerous instructional videos and DVD's.
