Muay Thai, which translates to 'Thaiboxing' in English, began thousands of years ago in Thailand, as a Martial Art used by the military. More recently it has gained popularity as a ring sport. In Muay Thai, the fighter can use any combination of punches, kicks, elbows, knees. and stand up grappling.
